The prior of Sigy (Sagy, it is written in the Trial Record), near Neufchatel, was, according to Quicherat, Friar Pierre de la Crique, a Benedictine who was a licentiate in law at Paris in 1424.
If Sagy is the monastery in question, the prior was probably Georges Martel, who is to be encountered in a trial of 1432.
